Todays Look - Snowed in

It started snowing in London last night. We walked through the city after midnight while the snow was falling and it was magical. Unfortunately the photo's this morning don't really do the snow justice as a lot of it has melted and has been cleaned up already but last night there was a thick white blanket over the city.

Bad news is, our flight home has been cancelled so we may just be in London a little while longer.

Todays Look - On the Roof Top

Todays Look - Barcelona

We arrived in Barcelona yesterday and i have to say that i am really enjoying the warmer temp. I suppose you can't really call 10 degrees warm but coming from Paris where it was as cold as -2 degs, it really feels like summer here.

We are loving Paris, even in the cold. As you can see from the pics, i look like a polar bear but it is really that cold. I am wearing an extra 5 layers under that coat and 2 beanies on my head. We have done all the proper touristy things on this trip, it has been amazing. I finally tasted the famous Laduree macaroons and they really are as incredible as everyone says. wow.

We leave for Barcelona in the morning and i am looking forward to the warmer temp.

Red Lips for Red Cups

Would you believe me if i told you that the chair i am sitting on in this post cost me next to nothing? I found this beauty for 50 ZAR, had it re-upholstered and voila! This morning i greet you from my espresso chair where i start off my mornings but really i want to talk to you about red lipstick. If you have been following this blog for a while you will notice that red lips are not a common thing around here. The thing is, i always thought darker lips were a mission to wear and that re-applying was involved after every meal. The truth is, these lips went through breakfast this morning and no re-applying was needed. Thanks to Inglot for a really great product. You can find out more about inglot here

You all guessed it right in my previous post...Mathew proposed to me while we were in Cape Town. Being engaged feels amazing and i still feel like i am dreaming. Thank you for your amazing wishes and kind words, it means so much to me.

This year has been incredible so far and it just keeps getting better...

I am now thrilled to introduce to you a new project on the blog...For the next couple of months i will be bringing you looks featuring some of the amazing brands stocked at Stuttafords stores.

I will be going in store and selecting some of my favorite pieces from Stuttafords, world of brands. The cool thing about Stuttafords is that they house so many amazing brands, so it makes shopping easy. Seafolly, Religion and Urge are just some of the really cool brands floating around their stores.

If you follow this blog you will know that not so long ago (here) i was sent a beaut package in the post from the lovely people over at 36Boutiques. I received a lovely tee from the August label and took it along with me to Barcelona. It was the perfect piece to take with on a trip like this because i could throw it together with anything and it is super comfy. This light weight, sheer tee was perfect for the hot Barcelona sun.

Back from the East and back to regular posting. I spent some time in Seoul and Hong Kong this week and last. I had the time of my life in Seoul and met some really amazing people. Here is a little taste of what i saw in Seoul.

It feels so weird having been away from the blog for an entire week. Life has been busy, really busy but i am back with my daily posts and would like to thank you all for being so sweet and understanding while i have been away. Here i am in Barcelona, on my way to dinner. It is hard to believe that it was passed 9:30pm in these pics. The sun was still out and people were in the park, soaking up the last rays.

Roof Top Color Pop

I am back in SA after a very quick but amazing trip. I spent 2 nights in Barcelona and 2 nights in London. Both Barcelona and London were manic, there were people everywhere all the time.. so different to home. I managed a quick visit to the Segrada Familia in BCN so will show you pics of that soon.. it was pretty much breath taking.

I am wearing everything Zara in these pics, except for my sunnies and accessories. These pics were taken on the roof top of our hotel in BCN, the views are beautiful from there.

Ola From Barcelona

Ola Amigo's! I must apologize for my lack of posting but i have been a busy girl.. catching planes and not getting enough sleep. I am currently in one of my favorite cities in the whole world... BARCELONA!!

We arrived here yesterday for work.. but when siesta came around we knew it was the perfect opportunity to utilize the rooftop swimming pool of our hotel. It is seriously boiling here at the moment. I am off to hit Starbucks before work starts again but i leave you with a few pics from our stay so far.. don't you love my new leather H&M sandals?
